On a night where we had to play 80 minutes of basketball in about 100 minutes, we end up victorious! This is my second basketball league in a row, and my second championship. The first game i blocked someone so bad that it bounced off his head and rolled out of bounce. I am thinking about playing in another basketball league starting at the end of february. It is at Santa Cruz Bible church. The fall league had 40 teams!!! Good night! Let's go buckets!

So it begins

Tonight Josh Larsen, Will Sawkins, and myself are playing some basketball. This is the play-offs, if we win @ 7:30pm tonight we play the winner of the 6:30pm game. Sound familiar Jon? The first game I played I scored 12 points, the second game I got zero. The third game I don’t remember, but we won in OT!! So as for tonight I need to get on the boards and help out my teammates. We are tied for the best record coming in, so we are favored to win the 1st game. Details tomorrow...

Saturdays

So Mr. Havens was in town and we all decided to go get some coffee. Seven of us met up at Starbucks by Home Depot, we had some great coversations, had a few laughs and decided to go over to Drew's house.
I have been to Drew's house before but never inside, just the driveway. When i walked in the front door, i realized that his house was the same exact floor plan as the house that i lived in for 20 years. It was so nastalgic, right when i walked i began to fantasize about my childood, Christmas mornings, dinner at the table, it was overwhelming.
So we picked up the whiffle balls, and the baseball bat, and walked over to vista park. We had overselves a 3 on 4 game. It was Jon, Ryan, and myself vs. Matt, Jeff, Drew, and Josh. I thought the teams were unfair at first, and i thought for sure we were going to lose. But after a 6-4 victory all preliminary underdog feeling went away. We beat 2 former good baseball players at their own game. I believe my 2 triples were the icing on the cake!

Sharks on the Power Play!!

November 7th I went to watch the Sharks beat the Wild 3-1. I did not go alone, I took a hottie with me, Marissa, my girl friend. She likes Sharks games and so do I, so everything is working out fine. As soon as we get to our seats Marissa says, "Wow, i have never sat this high before..." Needless to say we brought cotton balls to stop the bleeding.

It was a great game, we bought tickets off stubhub.com, great place to get tickets. We were able to park at a friends and walk to the Tank. Marissa knows the guy working the drink stand, so we got 2 free drinks. Grier, Thorton, and Marleau scored goals for the Sharks that game.
I bought the nachos for $5.25, not bad, but i wouldnt buy anything else there, too expensive. All in all, it was a great night, I want to go to more games. If you go to www.Sjsharks.com you buy Shark 3 game packs... I'm in are you?
